  • WE Flow L1This level-1 class includes stretching and strengthening for beginners, seniors, prenatal and postnatal, those rehabilitating and for anyone wanting or needing a gentler practice. Mindful breathing, relaxation techniques and pose modifications will provide a safe and effective practice. with WendyWendy Arner believes in promoting healthy lifestyle habits through a holistic approach. She found that a regular yoga practice was the missing piece needed to handle the stresses of everyday life. The immediate sense of well-being and decreased anxiety kept her returning to the mat. Increased energy and physical strength soon followed. Wendy’s beginner-friendly approach strives to meet the needs of individual practitioners. She creates a healthy, fun environment where you can safely nourish your mind, body and spirit through yoga. You will be guided through postures and conscious breathing, to become steadier, stronger, more flexible and relaxed. with AshleyAshley enjoys guiding students through a vinyasa style class, sequenced around a central theme.  She believes in using physical movement paired with breath connection to tell a story and encourages everyone to listen to their body while maintaining an open heart.  Ashley seeks to offer something for every person whether it be an inspirational piece of literature, deep stretch the body has been longing for, or simply a precious hour of time to dedicate to yourself. 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Mindful breathing, relaxation techniques and pose modifications will provide a safe and effective practice. with ShanaShana Baumgartner was first introduced to yoga in 1999 while living in California. She explored different yoga styles and take different classes, eventually falling in love with the fluidity and synchronicity of movement and breath that characterizes the Vinyasa flow style. In 2012, she decided to commit more fully to yoga by completing a 200-hour teacher training at West End Yoga; a truly life-changing experience! She continues to work on deepening her practice, guiding and learning from others on and off the mat, and maintaining her balance and calm.

  • Kripalu YogaInspired by the practices of Swami Kripalu, this beginner-friendly class offers a deep integration of breath work and postures. After body and breathing warm ups, we flow between and within postures to increase awareness and alignment, and to deepen into holds of postures. The class is led by a teacher immersed in Kripalu Methodology and a graduate of the Kripalu Center’s 500 hour program. with LisaLisa Bryan is a 500-hour certified teacher in the Kripalu Yoga tradition. She brings a passion for learning and holistic health into her classes and she loves to teach the breadth and depth of yoga practice with a sense of humor and nurturing. Breathing techniques (pranayama) and guiding deep relaxation experiences in svasana posture are her specialties.   • Yin YogaYin Yoga incorporates intentionally-placed poses which are held for 3-5 minutes to enhance effective stretching throughout the body. with MoniqueMonique Shetayh has been practicing yoga since 2006.  During the Summer of 2016, she decided to enroll in the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at West End Yoga because she was ready to deepen her knowledge and practice. Monique found the "journey" to be a "humbling, purifying and transformational experience", as she noticed the ways in which going inward inspired self-discovery and self-growth.  Yoga brings "balance, grounding, healing and calmness to my mind and body". Her yoga practice inspires her "to be better, to think less, to feel more and to simply be in the present moment".   • Gentle YogaThis class is for you if you are postnatal, recuperating from an injury, have a chronic condition that prohibits extensive movement, or just want relaxing, gentle stretching and strengthening. It is necessary to be able to practice seated on your mat, and on your back, belly, and knees. We will focus on mindful breathing and body awareness throughout the practice. with CharlotteCharlotte completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at West End in June 2024 and is currently pursuing additional certifications in restorative, Yin, and Chair yoga. Her journey also includes Reiki 1 and 2 certifications, as well as Animal Reiki 1 and 2. Charlotte believes in the power of the Universe to guide us to where we need to be. For her, teaching yoga at West End is a fulfillment of that belief. Her goal is to help others find physical, mental, and emotional balance, sharing the joy and serenity that yoga brings to her own life. 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Britt believes that allowing people to enjoy their practice and to be comfortable with themselves is an essential way to foster a long-term yoga experience where the benefits are an evolution of physical and mental self- improvement.   • Gentle YogaThis class is for you if you are postnatal, recuperating from an injury, have a chronic condition that prohibits extensive movement, or just want relaxing, gentle stretching and strengthening. It is necessary to be able to practice seated on your mat, and on your back, belly, and knees. We will focus on mindful breathing and body awareness throughout the practice. with CatCathy Cappel discovered the benefits of yoga in the 70’s, and credits her yoga experience for her continued flexibility, strength and vitality. Adding stillness and silence in meditation/prayer to her practice has helped to calm, center, and focus her on becoming and being her True Self. Cat enjoys guiding and encouraging her yogis on the path of Self-Love and Acceptance, discovering their true nature, and realizing how truly loving, peaceful and wise they are.  Cat believes that Love is who we are, and we need to Be that Love to be happy. “Let your teacher be love itself” (Rumi).   • Chair YogaChair Yoga is a unique yoga style that adapts yoga positions and poses through creative use of a chair. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body. The student is able to warm up the body safely and perform yoga poses with more support and stability. Poses are done seated on the chair or the chair is used for support during standing poses, forward and backward bends, side extensions, balancing, and leg and arm stretches. Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and physical conditions. with BethBeth Wernham is an E-RYT-500 through Yoga Alliance. Her journey in yoga began over 25 years ago as a way to manage anxiety and depression. In 2001, she studied Mindfulness Meditation and in 2008, she received her YTT-200 at Open Heart Yoga in Orefield, PA.   As a clinical social worker, she realized quickly that talk therapy was only part of a healing process for many of her clients, and became certified to teach yoga for depression and anxiety through LifeForce Yoga. In 2016 she received her YTT-500 at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and in 2017 she became certified as a Chair Yoga teacher with Lakshmi Voelker’s program.   She is also certified as a Children’s Yoga instructor and yoga for pregnant students. Please join Deanna for this transformative and deeply relaxing practice. with DeannaDeanna Nagle has been practicing yoga for more than twenty years, and teaching for over ten. She earned both her 200 hour and 500 hour level certifications at the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem where she also served as the director of teacher training for several years. She has additional training in restorative, yin, somatic, partner and children’s yoga. You will be guided through postures and conscious breathing, to become steadier, stronger, more flexible and relaxed. with DominicaDominica Fox is a 200-hr certified yoga instructor, with a career background in the mental health field.  After her yoga teacher training at West End Yoga, Dominica immediately felt the need to change her career and commit to teaching yoga. The training not only certified her as an instructor, but most importantly deepened her spirituality and desire to help others heal through yoga. Dominica believes in the healing power of yoga, as she has overcome body image issues through her practice and connection to mind, body, and spirit. It is her passion to help other women heal through holistic approaches in wellness coaching and yoga. Dominica teaches all levels and advocates that any body, any age can do yoga. It is Dominica’s philosophy to always listen to one’s body since we are all unique in our practice. Dominica incorporates creative sequencing for each individual in their yoga journey. She feels gratitude for the abundance of teachers, experiences and moments of humility and growth she finds through and because of her Yoga. Leah’s classes are guided in the style of Vinyasa Yoga, flowing from pose to pose with your breath, and are designed around the needs (or wants) of her students. Her flows are creative, focused and slow to encourage a deeper awareness and understanding of the body, breath, mind and heart.
