Casey Faurl has been practicing yoga regularly since 2015. Her journey began when she started her college career and was exploring new activities. Casey found a nearby yoga studio and fell in love after her first class. She enjoyed the physical component and especially that peaceful feeling she was left with at the end of class. Inspired by this practice and the Mind/Body connection, Casey began taking courses that revolved around Eastern traditions during her college career, and her love and understanding of yoga began to deepen. She began to see that there was so much more to yoga than just moving and stretching. She took courses relating to mindfulness, meditation, and pranayama. She began to explore and connect more deeply to the values and lifestyle that is yoga. Casey has since completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through West End Yoga Center and strives to continue to teach and live the values of yoga on and off the mat.
Casey is also an elementary school teacher, where she also shares her love for yoga, teaching children different yoga techniques. Casey is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Elementary Education and her Children’s Yoga Teacher Certification.
