Cathy Cappel discovered the benefits of yoga in the 70’s, and credits her yoga experience for her continued flexibility, strength and vitality. Adding stillness and silence in meditation/prayer to her practice has helped to calm, center, and focus her on becoming and being her True Self. Cat enjoys guiding and encouraging her yogis on the path of Self-Love and Acceptance, discovering their true nature, and realizing how truly loving, peaceful and wise they are.
Cat’s style is a combination of traditional Hatha – a balance between movement and stillness – and Kripalu – meditation-in-motion, flowing from pose-to-pose. She encourages moving with mindfulness, ease and breath-awareness, and recommends bringing your sense of humor along with you on your mat! Cat is also experienced in facilitating a safe and strengthening prenatal practice.
