Jill Smerdon is a certified yoga teacher who has been practicing since 2009 and teaching since 2021. Integrating movement, body, breath, and intention setting, Jill considers yoga a moving meditation. As a public school teacher experienced in differentiating instruction, Jill designs yoga practices that are accessible for all levels.
Mudras, creative flows, balancing postures, and modifications for beginners are essential features included in her practice. Jill has also designed themed workshops (Flight, for example, with Bird of Paradise, Humble Flamingo, Airplane, and Benu Bird, just to name a few) for students to make progress on challenging postures over multiple exposures and practice opportunities.
