Elizabeth Cressman became interested in yoga as a teen. She started learning from a small book she purchased that demonstrated some breathing techniques and poses. Liz continued her practice on her own using her book and some DVD’s as a guide. It wasn’t until her 30’s that she started to dive further into yoga by attending classes. She fell in love with the healing aspects of yoga, the sense of peace and joy it brought, as well as the united energy in a class setting. In any time of struggle the Mat was always there to return to a space of calm. Liz decided to take her journey further when the pandemic arrived and attended West End Yoga’s livestream 200-hour YTT program. Since then, Liz has been striving to bring that sense of peace and joy to others through teaching. Liz enjoys guiding a meditative style of yoga. A practice that focuses on the breath, self-care and self-acceptance. She believes in the benefits of yoga for the body and the mind and is excited to share that with others. She is also excited to continue to evolve as a student and teacher to see where that journey takes her in life.
