About Mariah Paone: “I started practicing yoga over 10 years ago when I was getting involved in weight lifting. Yoga was a great way for me to maintain my flexibility, while building strength. As I got older, the appeal of yoga transitioned from a physical benefit to a mental, mindful benefit. The ability to disconnect from the every day stressors around me and focus on breath and movement became my medicine. I received my 200-Hour CYT at my home studio back in Scranton, PA. I am excited to bring pieces I love from that studio to West End Yoga. I love finding movement and methods in yoga that help me enjoy other activities such as skiing and hiking even more. When it comes to teaching, I want to ensure my students have the space to focus on themselves mentally and physically. And most of all, I want them to have fun and play around in class!”
