Sydney Kozakis found yoga as a recovering long-distance runner, looking to care for her body in a more gentle way after years of marathon training. She came to yoga for the physical practice, and quickly realized there was so much more to yoga than stretching and strength training. She soon became completely hooked by the unbelievable healing qualities of yoga and the deepening mind-body-soul connection it provided her with. She returned to her mat time after time again to calm her mind, re-center, and reconnect to her True Self. Eager to deepen her knowledge of the practice, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at West End Yoga in 2023.
Sydney believes that yoga is for everyone. She sees her practice as one of the greatest gifts in her life, and she is passionate about sharing the power of yoga with others by providing space for her students to slow down, create space, prioritize their own well-being, and discover the gift of yoga for themselves both on and off the mat.
